Focus and Scope
The Applied Cancer Research (ACR) is a comprehensive oncology journal that publishes original articles, case reports, historical articles, editorial comments and reviews focusing on each aspect of cancer research, including biology, epidemiology, pathology, diagnosis and treatment (medical, pediatrics, radiation and surgical oncology). Oncology nursing and palliative care articles are also published. Every article undergoes peer review.
The ACR accepts reviews, original articles and case reports on the following areas of oncology: molecular biology, genetics, pathology, head and neck, lung, breast, gastrointestinal tract, genitourinary tract, and skin cancers, endocrine tumors, neurology, gynecology, pediatrics, radiotherapy, clinical oncology, ethics, clinical studies, nursing, rehabilitation and support.
Other sections of ACR include: editorials, historical articles and letters to the editor. Editorials are related to published articles in the same journal number or on subject of interest. Letters to the Editor must refer to published articles in the two last journal numbers, always with the right to reply. Usually, experts will be invited to elaborate review articles on subjects of interest.

Peer Review Process
Therefore manuscripts submitted for consideration in the peer-reviewed section of the Journal will undergo a peer review.
The journal uses a double-blind peer-review process (i.e. authors do not know who the reviewers, reviewers do not know who the authors are). It is then the author's responsibility to submit a manuscript that does not contain any information linking the paper to the authors.
Publication Frequency
This journal is published quartely.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
